Viant, a people-based advertising software company, has been named the Best Place to Work by Ad Age for 2021, marking its first-ever appearance on the list. Viant placed 13th based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from Viant employees.
Ad Age’s Best Places to Work ranking, in partnership with Latitude Research, looks to find the best companies in the advertising, marketing, and media industry when it comes to workplace culture, inclusion, employee engagement and more. Ad Age’s scoring system includes six key satisfaction areas: employee benefits, company culture, company environment, employee perks, employee development and employee engagement. The system factors in the importance of those six key satisfaction areas, an aggregate of each company’s ratings in those key areas, and a collective workplace rating to arrive at an overall score.
“Culture is an important part of our workplace at Viant, and we take pride in the success and growth of our people. Our core values of Live, Lead, Create and Figure it Out are truly the backbone of our organization and influences everything we do,” said Tim Vanderhook, CEO at Viant Technology. “From goal setting and regular employee engagement, to CUMULUS, our committee for making life sweet, we are always working to enhance our culture. Individuals at Viant can make an impact and we are proud to provide an inclusive, productive, flexible, and inspiring work environment where our people can thrive.”
Another portion of Viant’s organization, Viant Cares, is a philanthropic committee that works to effect real change through initiatives with local food banks, donation drives, after-school programs, and city and beach cleanups. Company culture is driven by the people that work at Viant, and Viant Cares showcases the character, drive and integrity of the organization.
