Attentive, the conversational commerce platform, is announcing its first customer event in Canada on May 17 as part of its Thread World Tour 2023. With the company’s investments in global SMS marketing growth, Attentive is expanding its annual conference to nine cities across three countries, with Toronto as the next stop.
78% of Canadian shoppers shared that they are likely to make a purchase via SMS marketing, leading to Attentive’s growth in the local market since entering Canada in July 2021. Hundreds of Canadian brands including ILIA Beauty, Club Monaco, and Nudestix have signed on to engage their customers with two-way, personalized communications. As the demand for the platform increases globally, Attentive is continuing to invest in Canada to help brands build a direct relationship with their customers, increasing revenue and brand loyalty.
Building on the success of the company’s inaugural conference last year, which drew over 1,400 marketers, Thread in Toronto will be an immersive in-person experience tailored specifically to the Canadian market. The event will feature insights into the latest local consumer trends and innovations in AI, conversational commerce, and SMS marketing. Attendees will get a first look into Attentive’s latest product innovations, hear from Canadian underwear brand Knix on how the brand made SMS a top revenue channel, and learn from industry peers through interactive roundtables and networking events.
