Demandbase, the leading account-based GTM platform for B2B enterprises, announces the hiring of Greg Philiotis as chief revenue officer (CRO). Most recently in the role of CRO at Varicent, Philiotis has an impressive track record of success and has made a name for himself throughout his career due to his deep understanding of global markets and operational excellence. At a time when Demandbase continues to grow in both scale and innovation, Philiotis’ expertise will be instrumental in driving further revenue growth, expanding market presence, and aligning strategy with execution to support the company’s next phase of success.
“I’ve been following Demandbase for some time, and I am energized by the company’s transformative approach to B2B marketing and sales, and how they’re reshaping the industry,” said Philotis, CRO at Demandbase. “Joining the team as CRO is a natural fit given my experience in enterprise software and my passion for helping organizations scale. I’m looking forward to bringing all that I’ve learned throughout my career into this role and being part of the next chapter of Demandbase growth.”
Philiotis is a highly accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience leading growth across sales, marketing, business development, and customer success. Notable achievements include scaling CallidusCloud’s Financial Services practice revenue by 20X in just four years and driving Medallia’s International business growth 3x in only 3.5 years. His leadership has consistently resulted in high-performing teams and record revenue growth, earning him the CallidusCloud MVP award in 2015 and 2017.
“We are currently entering a new phase of growth at Demandbase, and we are pleased to have Greg on the team to further champion sales and marketing alignment and accelerate future growth at Demandbase,” said Gabe Rogol, CEO at Demandbase. “As we keep pushing the boundaries of innovation in GTM for B2B enterprises, we’re confident that Greg’s leadership will help us strengthen our mission of transforming the way B2B organizations go to market.”
