As CTO, Nathan brings a combination of technical quality, hands-on coaching, and business operations support to the team as the agency continues to grow and take on new challenges.

Nathan Smith brings a wealth of knowledge to the CTO role and is an enthusiastic mentor and leader. He’s a full-stack software engineer who’s developed modules, plugins, themes, and integrations for numerous PHP frameworks, including Drupal, WordPress, and Laravel. He’s also developed rich applications using modern web application frameworks, including React, Vue.js, Ember while leveraging micro-services and Cloud Functions. Further, Nathan has a strong background in Kubernetes which fits in well with Fruition Cloud. Fruition Cloud is a Kubernetes-backed hosting platform with an emphasis on security and developer experience. With a strong background in business operations, website and app projects, and technical leadership, Nathan’s experience sets Fruition up for an increased emphasis on internal tooling and products.
