Dynata, the trusted source for reliable and accurate first-party insights, announced the expansion of its AI-driven data quality solution, QualityScore™, with new features and broader accessibility. Previously available exclusively to customers using Dynata’s in-house survey programming, QualityScore is now accessible to users of third-party survey programming tools and is also natively integrated within the Press Ganey Forsta HX platform.
Originally launched in 2020, QualityScore is a foundational component of Dynata’s commitment to data quality. The solution evaluates over 175 passively tracked respondent behaviors to detect signs of fraud and inattentiveness, including indicators like speeding, straight-lining, and open-ended response quality. It also analyzes subtler signals—such as mouse movement, survey acceleration, hotkey use, page translation, and typing speed—to distinguish between partial and complete disengagement.
QualityScore automatically removes and replaces poor-quality or fraudulent respondents in real-time during data collection, ensuring cleaner datasets and timely delivery. Customers using QualityScore report an 85% reduction in manual data cleaning.
“QualityScore is the cornerstone of our data quality approach, and not only do we continue to invest in the technology, the AI and ML models continue to improve over time, which ensures that we continue to evolve our approach,” says Deirdre Thomas, Chief Product Officer, Dynata. “Our goal is to make it easy for our customers to leverage QualityScore, and we are thrilled to now offer a native integration within the Press Ganey Forsta Research HX platform.”
“Integrating QualityScore directly into the Research HX Platform brings immediate, automated data validation to our customers,” said Kyle Ferguson, CEO of Press Ganey Forsta’s cross-industries division. “It’s a powerful step toward eliminating manual cleanup and accelerating confident decision-making, all while reinforcing the integrity of the insights organizations rely on.”
