Productsup, a leading ecommerce data integration company, today announced the appointment of Vincent Peters as the company’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Peters will sit on the company’s executive board of directors and be responsible for leading Productsup’s global sales team.
Peters joins Productsup from TIBCO, where he most recently served as vice president, global head of sales OEM and strategic partners. After starting his career at Oracle as its youngest-ever account manager, he spent more than 30 years in various sales and leadership roles at fast-growing software companies, such as Siebel Systems, Cramer Systems, Intralinks, and Qlik. Peters’ extensive experience in leading enterprise software sales, coupled with an understanding of analytics and data science, will accelerate Productsup’s global growth and expansion.
“It’s been a fantastic year for us and adding Vincent to the team will help us keep our momentum going,” said Johannis Hatt, CEO, Productup. “Not only does he have an impressive record in leading enterprise software sales, but he also has the energy and drive that will be crucial in writing the next chapter for Productsup.”
Productsup helps companies improve their multichannel ecommerce strategy with a 360-degree view of product data and automated content syndication. Complete visibility of data across all channels, coupled with the ability to make updates in real time, synchronize order and keep stock levels up to date, allows companies to easily manage the product experience. Productsup also provides a visual self-service platform that embeds basic content-editing and rich media optimization capabilities. The platform allows users to integrate product feeds and meet channel requirements on their own instead of relying on managed services. Leveraging Productsup, companies can successfully aggregate, optimize, and distribute product data to Google Shopping, Amazon, Facebook dynamic ads, Pinterest Shopping and 1,500 other marketplaces and channels.
Founded in 2010, Productsup has seen significant revenue growth, expanded partnerships and successful customer outcomes with the rise of ecommerce. This announcement comes at an exciting time for the company, as it has recently reached profitability and was recognized by Gartner in its June 2020 Cool Vendors in Digital Commerce report.
“For modern enterprises to survive, they need to truly embrace ecommerce through a global, integrated approach,” said Vincent Peters, CSO and board member, Productsup. “Productsup’s market opportunity is enormous, and I’m more than excited to join the team and be part of their continued success story.”
