The leader in real-time data access layer for AI and next-generation applications Hasura announced it has named longtime cloud software leader Suku Krishnaraj to the positions of Chief Operating Officer and President of Go-to-Market. Krishnaraj, who brings 25 years of demonstrated success in scaling technology companies from startups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises, is responsible for all aspects of Hasura sales, marketing, post-sales and operations, reporting to co-founder and CEO Tanmai Gopal.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Suku as our new Chief Operating Officer and President of Go-to-Market,” said Tanmai Gopal, CEO of Hasura. “With his impressive track record of category creation, building and scaling startups and public companies, and his unique blend of bridging Go-To-Market with product strategies, we are confident that Suku will help us accelerate our mission to become the de facto standard for real-time data access for next generation and AI applications.”

“I am incredibly excited to join Hasura, a trailblazer in the data API space, at this pivotal point for both its growth and innovation,” said Krishnaraj. “The opportunity to work with and lead teams that are revolutionizing how developers access and utilize data, with a unique meta-data driven approach is inspiring. “I look forward to combining Hasura’s impressive engineering excellence, as demonstrated by Hasura DDN and its early access AI offering, Pacha, with my own experience in scaling Go-To-Market at tech companies to drive growth and increase Hasura’s impact in this rapidly-evolving field.”

Known for driving product innovation, leading high-performance teams, and building successful go-to-market strategies, Krishnaraj has proven expertise in the observability, cyber security, and developer productivity domains and has successfully led GTM for enterprise-focused and developer-led high-velocity businesses scaling multi-fold. He has led high growth initiatives at some of the best-known public and private companies in tech, having served as CMO at Sumo Logic, where the revenue grew 30x during his eight years tenure; General Manager of the cloud portfolio at CenturyLink; SVP of Product Strategy at SolarWinds and CMO of AppFog. Krishnaraj holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mysore University, India, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Krishnaraj’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Hasura, to spearhead the transition of its metadata-driven solution from REST and GraphQL APIs to new protocols that will be required to usher in applications and agent development in the AI era. Hasura has seen impressive revenue growth and customer acquisition in the last 12 months, with 10 Fortune 100 brands using Hasura as part of their mission-critical services.

Hasura has significantly expanded its platform’s capabilities this year, having recently announced innovations in the Hasura Data Delivery Network (DDN) that enable unified access to distributed data with a unique meta-data-driven approach. Hasura DDN solves one of the hardest problems that companies building AI features and products face today: the ability to connect their LLM models to enterprise data from multiple domains while maintaining compliance with governance and security policies.

Hasura is seeing strong momentum in the AI ecosystem, with leading GenAI startups like Leonardo.AI leveraging it to accelerate their time to market. This underscores the critical role that Hasura will play in the AI space by unblocking real-time data access to the applications. The company has also seen a growing number of notable customer wins in other sectors this year, including a Fortune 20 bank, a Fortune 20 wealth management firm, a Fortune 100 infrastructure software provider, and a Fortune 10 healthcare company.
