Instabug, the leading mobile monitoring, crash and bug reporting solution for mobile teams, has named Nick Bogaty the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer. Bogaty will lead the sales, marketing, success, and support teams to build and strengthen customer relationships amid the company’s rapid growth. Bogaty joins following Instabug’s $46 million Series B funding round in May.

Bogaty has more than 20 years of experience building and scaling large teams and driving growth across all customer segments and deal sizes. He comes to Instabug from AppDynamics, where he led the commercial teams as CRO and managed all aspects of the go-to-market strategy, including the sales and the CX organizations. Prior to AppDynamics, Bogaty spent nine years at Adobe, where he co-founded and led the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite product as General Manager.

“Mobile is the central channel for all businesses, and the challenges around creating great mobile experiences are very real and unique. Creating thriving mobile businesses must be a core strategy for every company globally, and Instabug’s products and mission align directly with our customers’ focus and investment,” said Bogaty. “Instabug’s accomplishments to date are impressive, and I’m eager for the opportunity to help build on the team’s success.”

Instabug is seeing increased business momentum and demand for its platform. Over the last 12 months, the company has reached more than 2.7 billion mobile devices and processed 110 billion mobile sessions and 4.2 billion issues.

Mobile applications and interactions with them have been evolving for almost 15 years, but only in the past few have these interactions become the primary way consumers interface with brands and services. Leaders in industries spanning banking, transportation, retail, and education have realized mobile applications are the dominant way customers will experience their brands and products.

“We’ve seen strong revenue growth as we extend our efforts to equip developers and leading enterprises with the visibility and insights they need to build tomorrow’s top mobile applications,” said Omar Gabr, Instabug CEO. “Industry leaders like DoorDash, Verizon, IHG, AB Inbev, Porsche, Qualtrics, and Gojek depend on Instabug for their mobile app performance, and Nick is the ideal leader to help us continue our momentum and bring Instabug to more customers.”

Bogaty will continue scaling out Instabug’s revenue teams, with aggressive hiring plans for the company’s commercially focused positions. Instabug has approximately 50 open roles and is prioritizing strategic sales and marketing hires over the next year.
