Panopto, the leading video management system provider in the enterprise and higher education markets, today announced that Adrianna Burrows, a technology and marketing veteran, has joined its board of directors.
Burrows is CMO of Payscale, where she is accountable for all marketing plans and programs including branding, product, positioning, corporate communications, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy. She is currently a member of the board of directors of Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers. With over 20 years of cross-functional marketing and communications experience, Burrows also served as CMO of Cornerstone OnDemand and CMO of Stack Overflow. Previously, Burrows worked at Microsoft, serving as general manager of Windows Global Marketing, where she led the global launch of Windows 10. Earlier in her career, she spent over 12 years at communications agency Waggener Edstrom, where she served as senior vice president.

Burrows joins the Panopto board as the company continues its rapid growth. Panopto recently received a significant investment from K1 Investment Management (“K1”), a leading investment firm focusing on high-growth enterprise software companies. In addition, Panopto recently acquired Ensemble Video, a video platform focused on the K-12 and higher education markets. Earlier this year, Panopto also announced a multi-year strategic partnership with TechSmith to give students, educators, and employees a powerful solution for creating, securing, and distributing video-based intelligence in universities and enterprises. In conjunction with Panopto’s expanding footprint across education and enterprise, Burrows’ addition to the board marks the onset of an exciting new chapter for Panopto, as companies and universities emerge from the pandemic with a heightened focus on asynchronous video communication.
