Liberty Global announces expansion of the agreement with Amdocs to provide a smooth customer journey

The leading provider of software and services to media and communications company, Amdocs has announced that one of the world’s largest international TV and broadband organizations, Liberty Global, has chosen to expand its agreement with the company to continue providing users with seamless access to entertaining and inspiring media content and communication services on multiple devices. The program is being delivered on AWS (Amazon Web Services) to each and every one of the services of the operator across several countries. It also provides its customers with quite a high secured multi-factor authentication for the purpose of providing a seamlessly integrated and enriching customer experience. Amdocs was recently featured in the martech news arena for providing services to Airtel Africa.

Amdocs will be responsible for providing Liberty Global with a frictionless and a smoother customer journey as a part of this project. It will do so by reducing the calls for customer support and by enabling new and advanced business opportunities for the operator of pan-Europe. This agreement will also enable Liberty Global in creating a more personalized experience for its customers that will drive consumer loyalty and will also make the brand more powerful across all channels. This will be done alongside the monetization of content and simplification and easy to implement processes for the new digital services.

Aarne Aho, MD Global Delivery, Central IT, and Partner Management at Liberty Global stated that for CSPs operating across several geographies, user management and identity is a complicated domain. Aarne further added that Liberty Global has been using the user lifecycle management solution of Amdocs, on-premise for a number of years now and the company is delighted to be extending its capabilities for consumers as well as enterprise to the cloud using AWS all across Europe.
