Logix Fiber Networks’ Scott Brueggeman to Speak at Big 5G Event

Brueggeman will speak on the importance and growth of fiber supporting 5G in Texas

LOGIX Fiber Networks, the largest independent fiber network provider in Texas, today announced that Scott Brueggeman, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, will speak at the Big 5G Event in Austin, Texas on May 17.

The Big 5G Event, hosted by Light Reading, is a three-day, industry wide networking and educational conference. Other speakers at the event include executives from T-Mobile, DISH Wireless, and AT&T.

Brueggeman’s presentation, titled “Fiber to ?” will address key fiber and 5G issues such as:

  • The growth of fiber and 5G
  • Fiber opportunities at the tower, edge, small cell, and municipality
  • Challenges and opportunities of 5G for the fiber market

Brueggeman has more than 20 years of leadership experience in telecom, data center, Internet, and financial services. He has built scalable foundations that delivered immediate and long-term results within a variety of operating environments, including startups, IPOs, and Fortune 100s. Prior to LOGIX, he was Global Chief Marketing Officer at CyrusOne, an international provider of connectivity and data center solutions.
