MNTN, one of the fastest-growing marketing software platforms, today announced the acquisition of QuickFrame, a leading original video creation platform. QuickFrame, which will now be branded QuickFrame by MNTN, built a network of thousands of creators, streamlining the process of producing video ads for over 1,000 clients across 20 verticals. The deal marks MNTN’s second major acquisition in the past seven months, following the addition of Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort.

MNTN expanded the market for TV advertising by creating the first self-serve platform that makes running Connected TV ads as simple as advertising on search or social. With its newly launched Creative-as-a-Subscription model, MNTN is building a simpler way for brands to unite the creative development and media buying process together. QuickFrame by MNTN accelerates that process by allowing brands to use one platform to efficiently create video assets and seamlessly activate them on TV.

“We’ve been working closely with QuickFrame for several years and are blown away by the speed at which they’ve built a marketplace for efficiently creating TV Ads,” said MNTN Chief Executive Officer Mark Douglas. “There is an overwhelming demand for brands to keep their ad content relevant and easily scale their video output. That’s why the response to Creative-as-a-Subscription has been so phenomenal and why this deal makes so much sense. This acquisition represents an important milestone in transforming the business model away from the complicated process of buying creative and media separately.

“We believe fast and affordable are not the enemy of great creative. Quite the opposite. Some of Maximum Effort’s best work has been when we’ve been moving quickly with limited time and resources,” said MNTN Chief Creative Officer Ryan Reynolds. “Adding QuickFrame to our Creative-as-a-Subscription model will allow brands big and small to move faster and more efficiently.”

QuickFrame Chief Executive Officer and Founder Lucas Loeffler will remain the President of QuickFrame by MNTN. He commented, “We’re inspired by Mark’s vision for a simpler, faster way to bring great creative to life. We are so proud of what we’ve built and look forward to working with Mark and Ryan to build a new golden age of TV advertising, one more purpose-built for the age of Connected TV.

QuickFrame by MNTN will continue to service all current customers’ video needs across channels including CTV, social, and display.
