USEReady, a leading data analytics solutions provider, today announced at Snowflake’s annual user conference, Snowflake Summit 2023, the launch of DCW. DCW is a health check and optimization app that provides actionable insights into Snowflake platform’s monitoring, security, and governance.
USEReady said that it developed the app in response to a growing user need for an intuitive, self-service app for monitoring Snowflake Data Cloud, including storage and compute, and generating recommendations to optimize the cloud environment.
“Our customer research has shown that there is potential for enhancing cloud governance which can not only optimize performance for users and applications but also lower costs. DCW is designed to provide a user-friendly, SaaS product that consolidates key consumption-related metrics, alerts for specific actions, and the ability to define security policies and apply them to data sets, all in one place,” said Uday Hegde, CEO and Founder, USEReady.
DCW offers a single dashboard for platform health-checks, security, and governance. It also provides timely alerts for specific actions, an easy-to-use Streamlit-based app, and scalability and high availability through deployment in Streamlit cloud. The platform aims to provide cost savings through optimization-related recommendations, improved security for sensitive data, and efficient health check capabilities, saving time for administrators.
Currently in private beta, DCW will be available to general customers later this summer.
