Nylas Named a 2023 Gartner® Cool Vendor

Recognized as a Cool Vendor in the 2023 Gartner “Cool Vendors™ in Composable Customer Engagement Platforms report”

Nylas, the state-of-the-art communications platform giving developers universal access to email, calendar, and contacts providers through a single API integration, today announced it has been named a 2023 Gartner Cool Vendor in the Gartner report titled, “Cool Vendors in Composable Customer Engagement Platforms,” by Gartner analysts Pankil Sheth, Lisa Unden-Farboud, Daniel O’Connell, Brian Doherty, and Ajit Patankar. According to Gartner, “Enterprises seeking to build and drive deeper customer engagement and strengthen employee experience with APIs and SDE must look outside traditional use cases of CPaaS tools.”

Despite volatile market conditions, CPaaS continues to be one of the fastest growing technology markets. A key driver of this is the continued growth of APIs. In their 2023 State of Developer Experience report, Nylas found that 98% of developers view APIs as a key contributor to helping themselves and their teams get their work done while 86% of developers expect their use of APIs to increase in the coming year.

Additionally, Gartner research shows that “By 2025, 95% of global enterprises will utilize API-enabled communication platform as a service (CPaaS) offerings.”
