PR Agency Gabriel Marketing Group Wins 2020 MarCom Awards

GMG's four international awards continue the agency's strong momentum for industry recognition of its excellence in growth marketing, digital advertising and technology public relations.

Gabriel Marketing Group (GMG) today announced it was awarded four of the top prizes at the 2020 MarCom Awards, an annual international competition that celebrates companies and individuals whose marketing and communication talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The four Platinum 2020 Marcom Awards continue GMG’s substantial momentum over the past 18 months in industry recognition of its excellence and leadership in growth marketing, digital advertising and technology public relations.

GMG’s winning entries include:

  • A B2B integrated growth marketing and public relations campaign for digital accessibility software provider User1st. The campaign spanned multi-platform digital advertising, content creation and the design and development of high-conversion landing pages, generating highly qualified business leads, directly attributable revenue and media coverage in national business and technology trade publications.
  • A B2C digital advertising campaign on Facebook and Instagram for Capango, a retail job matching platform and app. The campaign increased downloads of Capango’s Android and iOS apps and expanded Capango’s audience.
  • A strategic media relations campaign for ReFirm Labs that raised awareness in business, national security, public policy and international press about the urgent need for better IoT security and the potential/active security risks of companies aligned with hostile nation-states as suppliers to the next generation of America’s telecommunications infrastructure.
  • A strategic PR campaign that increased the public and online profiles of an executive at one of the top 50 independent insurance brokerages in the U.S. through a combination of media coverage, social media and industry awards.

The four 2020 MarCom Awards add to GMG’s two Platinum 2020 dotCOMM Awards, Gold 2020 Communicator Award and Silver 2019 Communicator Award. GMG was also selected by as one of 2020’s Best Marketing Consultants and Best PR Firms in Washington, D.C. and named to DC Inno’s 2019 50 on Fire list of the most innovative companies in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, GMG’s fourth 50 on Fire honor in six years.

The 2020 Marcom Awards competition received more than 6,000 entries from throughout the U.S., Canada, and dozens of other countries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. Marcom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
