Awin and ShareASale today announced affiliate industry veteran Adam Weiss has joined the Group as President, North America.  

 A critical hire for the Awin Group, Weiss brings with him over 20 years’ experience in digital marketing and advertising. As he steps into this role, Weiss will oversee North American operations for Awin and ShareASale, spearheading growth for both these businesses and their customers. Further, his appointment solidifies the Awin Group’s position as a leader in affiliate marketing, reinforcing its status as the go-to destination for premier martech solutions.

 Weiss is known as an industry leader and passionate advocate for the affiliate channel, helping brands, agencies and publishers generate strong revenues and lasting partnerships. He is well respected for his commitment to customer success and building high-performing teams. Before joining Awin and ShareASale, Weiss ran his own strategic consulting practice working with a wide variety of clients in the affiliate industry. Prior to consulting, he spent 14 years at Rakuten Advertising in various strategic and leadership roles, including general manager and senior vice president of the US affiliate business.

 According to a recent study commissioned by Awin and conducted by Forrester Consulting, 92% of surveyed senior marketers consider affiliate marketing to be highly effective or effective in meeting their goals, with 78% stating they plan to expand their activities in 2024. The importance of the channel is reflected in the Awin Group’s own customer data. In 2023 alone, brands leveraged the Awin and ShareASale platforms to generate an impressive $19 billion in revenue, while publishers earned a remarkable $1.4 billion in commissions.
