Spiff, a SaaS sales compensation platform for sales and finance teams to help automate sales commissions, has announced the appointment of Anna Fisher as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this newly created role, Fisher will be responsible for building an integrated marketing organization that blends brand strategy and revenue marketing.
Fisher is a proven marketing and sales leader, having managed revenue marketing programs through two acquisitions and an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in nearly a decade in marketing leadership roles at ZoomInfo. During her tenure at the company, Fisher most recently served as Vice President of Marketing. In her role heading up brand awareness, lead generation, product and customer marketing, she helped guide ZoomInfo through its merger with DiscoverOrg and saw the company through its IPO in June 2020. During her eight years at the company, Fisher was instrumental in ZoomInfo’s 2,000 percent growth as it matured from a tactical tool for sales reps and marketing managers to a strategic offering for Chief Revenue and Marketing Officers.
In this newly created CMO position at Spiff, Fisher will be responsible for shaping corporate brand and strategy and developing the lead generation, digital advertising, and demand generation programs to support it.
Fisher joins Spiff after the company has closed multiple rounds of funding, won more G2 leader badges than any other provider in the sales compensation and sales performance management categories over the last 12 months, and continues to grow at a breakneck pace.
“There are a few rare times in your career when you feel like everything is going your way. That’s how we all felt at Spiff when Anna accepted our offer. Anna is a world-class marketer and an amazing team builder. Anna will help us educate the business world that real-time, data-driven revenue motivation is critical to every company’s success,” added Jeron Paul, founder and CEO of Spiff.
Spiff has continued to sign up some of the most dynamic companies in the world including Jamf and TuffShed.
“Leadership in marketing requires a broad base of expertise and a true partnership with the rest of the organization. I’m excited to accelerate revenue growth for Spiff, an organization that is on the brink of redefining how companies manage and incent their sales teams,” said Anna Fisher, Chief Marketing Officer, Spiff. “Spiff is a must-have technology for anyone with a commission-driven team.”
Sean Jacobsohn, a partner at Norwest Venture Partners who serves on Spiff’s board, said, “The way people think about sales compensation has evolved as revenue generation becomes science in successful companies. Anna is an experienced executive who has helped guide and grow a marketing platform into an essential tool for every marketing organization and we look forward to her helping us guide Spiff to a similar result.”
