SlickText, a proven leader in text marketing, today announces the appointment of Rob Trumble as chief operating officer. With significant leadership and operational experience, Trumble enables SlickText to effectively and rapidly scale its business and enhance its core business processes while sustaining SlickText’s company culture and customer service as the company continues to grow.

“Rob’s wide-ranging experiences — as a Ranger and officer in the U.S. Army and as a multi-functional leader in small and large companies, including General Electric — have given him the ability to view operational excellence through a variety of lenses, build effective organizations and grow great businesses,” said Matt Baglia, chief executive officer of SlickText. “With Rob’s expertise, we will continue our meteoric rise without losing what’s made us SlickText and so successful: our people, culture and customer service.”

Prior to SlickText, Trumble was vice president and head of consulting and services at NextGen Healthcare, a provider of ambulatory-focused technology solutions. He joined NextGen Healthcare upon its purchase of Entrada, Inc., a mobile technology company, where he served as a chief operating officer and chief product officer.

“The team at SlickText has built something special: a tremendous product, a great customer base and a fantastic culture,” said Trumble. “I look forward to helping SlickText drive greater value to customers as they use our platform to engage with their audience in increasingly intelligent ways.”

Trumble’s appointment is the latest step in SlickText’s strategic growth plan, following the appointment of Brian Wilson as chief revenue officer and Meg Scales as chief marketing officer. In 2020, SlickText’s continued momentum enabled them to open an office in Nashville, Tennessee, in addition to its first office in Jamestown, New York.

  1. SlickText has experienced triple digit growth in 2020 and will relocate to larger office space in Nashville to accommodate the continued growth opportunity.
