365 Connect Explores the Influencer Effect on Multifamily Housing in Live Webcast

365 Connect, a leading provider of award-winning marketing, leasing, and resident technology platforms for the multifamily housing industry, announced today that its founder and CEO, Kerry W. Kirby, will serve as keynote speaker for a live webcast. The webcast, “The Influencer Effect on Multifamily Housing,” is scheduled to air on October 10, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. ET on, the largest media platform in the multifamily housing industry.

“The Influencer Effect on Multifamily Housing” examines the various digital influences reshaping the industry and the subsequent marketing shifts. The webcast focuses on an array of factors currently impacting apartment communities from the popularity of rideshare apps to smart home technology. In examining next-generation renters, lifestyle renting, and mobile-first tech trends, the webcast also details ways for property managers to capitalize on the emerging technologies today’s renters find most valuable.

“The multifamily housing industry is changing at a rapid pace,” Kirby explained. “Amenitization is moving toward automation, mobile technology has experienced unprecedented momentum, and the ridesharing movement is impacting zoning requirements across numerous cities. With so much happening at once, it’s important that multifamily housing operators familiarize themselves with how digital amenities and services are significantly impacting the market.”

Joining Kirby is property management expert, Ernest F. Oriente of PowerHour, an industry professional since 1988 and the author of “SmartMatch Alliances.” Oriente and Kirby have presented over 100 webcasts together, covering an array of topics from strategies on maintaining the optimum performance of multifamily communities to the latest technology trends. With a combined experience of almost 50 years in the multifamily housing industry, Oriente and Kirby deliver comprehensive, educational, and leading-edge programming.

Oriente responded, “Kerry has his finger on the pulse of the latest innovations in the multifamily industry, and I am excited to join him in this discussion of how influencers are changing the way we think about housing. As with all the other materials we produce, we strive to deliver attainable suggestions to our audience, so that they may accommodate the newest wave of developments in the market.”

“We are facing record-breaking growth in the multifamily housing industry. Statistics show that we will need to build at least 4.6 million apartment homes by 2030 just to keep up with demand,” Kirby concluded. “Given the immense size of the modern-day rental market, we find it imperative for apartment community operators to make use of strategic, tech-driven amenities, services, and marketing tactics to attract and retain next generation renters. We are excited to share our knowledge of this subject with our industry peers.”
