Pipedrive, the easy and effective sales CRM for small companies, today announced it earned a spot on the 2025 Midsize Companies (100–999 employees) list as part of Fast Company’s annual Best Workplaces for Innovators program. Fast Company revealed its seventh annual list, recognizing businesses that foster a culture of innovation across all levels.
The 2025 Best Workplaces for Innovators list ranks 100 winners across diverse industries such as technology, entertainment, biotech, consumer packaged goods, marketing, education and healthcare. To be considered, applicants detailed their investment in innovation, internal programs, and company culture. Final selections were made by Fast Company’s editors, who evaluated every application and conducted extensive research to generate a score for each company. A distinguished panel of judges then reviewed the top-rated companies.
“At Pipedrive, innovation isn’t confined to one team or job title. We’ve built a culture where bold thinking, cross-functional collaboration and customer-driven problem solving are encouraged at every level. We also believe that trust is a key driver of innovation. Rather than letting fear of making mistakes limit what’s possible, we choose to trust our people. That trust allows individuals to bring their full selves to work, engage deeply and take meaningful risks – all of which fuel creative thinking and adaptability. Being recognized by Fast Company confirms what we already know about Pipedrive’s culture and its people: innovation isn’t the result of isolated efforts, it’s what happens when people across the company come together with curiosity, purpose and shared commitment to industry-shaping outcomes,” said Tanya Channing, COO at Pipedrive.
“Each year, we’re inspired by the companies and leaders who prove that innovation doesn’t happen by accident – it’s the result of intentional choices to empower people at every level,” says Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “The organizations on this year’s Best Workplaces for Innovators list show that when you build a culture where creativity and risk-taking are valued, breakthrough ideas inevitably follow.”
A recent and important innovation that exemplifies Pipedrive’s inside-out approach is the Pipedrive AI suite, providing a wide range of AI tools designed to reduce time spent on tasks, boost performance and facilitate smarter decision-making in sales workflow management. This concept was born from cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design and customer-facing teams and was driven by a shared understanding of common customer challenges: time-consuming admin tasks, fragmented workflows, and the need for faster, more intelligent decision-making.
Another example of innovation at Pipedrive is the company’s strong commitment to human capital and employee well-being. One unique approach is the Personal Coaching Program, which provides free, one-on-one coaching to all employees. Unlike generic wellness stipends or third-party platforms, Pipedrive coaches are in-house professionals with backgrounds in psychology, fully embedded in the company and available to all Pipedrivers – no manager approval needed.
Fast Company has produced the Best Workplaces for Innovators Awards since 2019. Now in its seventh year, the awards program recognizes companies that most effectively encourage innovation across the enterprise. To earn recognition, companies must cite existing programs and investment that demonstrate an infrastructure that captures and cultivates great ideas arising from any corner of the organization.
