Gabriel Marketing Group (GMG), the industry’s leading technology marketing and public relations agency for disruptive, high-growth companies, today announced DC Inno named it as a 2019 “50 on Fire” winner in the design, development and marketing category. This is GMG’s fourth “50 on Fire” recognition by DC Inno in six years; GMG previously was named to the annual “50 on Fire” list in 2017 and founder and CEO Leah Nurik was selected as a “50 on Fire” innovator in 2014 and 2016.

“As we continue to expand our presence in both D.C. and across the whole of the country, 2019 will go down in the books as a flagship year for both high-caliber work and high-octane growth for GMG,” said Nurik. “I am grateful for our exceptional team of tech marketing and public relations professionals who are both passionate and committed to servicing our increasing list of high-growth technology clients. We’re looking forward to all that next year has to offer – with 20/20 vision.”

The annual “50 on Fire” awards honor the most innovative companies, organizations and people across multiple categories throughout the country’s largest metropolitan markets. The 2019 “50 on Fire” winner continues to support its clients through numerous funding rounds, product launches and mergers and acquisitions. In 2019 alone, GMG has successfully guided clients through three mergers and acquisitions, helping them further gain their footing as leaders in the marketplace. Through GMG’s media relations efforts, clients appear in top-tier business and leading technology trade publications including: The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, The Washington Post, Fortune, Inc., American Inno and TechCrunch, among others.

This year, GMG won four major industry awards including a 2019 Communicator Award for “Content & Marketing Campaign-Branded Social Campaign;” ACQ5 Global Awards “U.S. 2019 Boutique Communications Firm of the Year, Technology;” ACQ5 Global Awards 2019 “U.S. Marketing Executive of the Year” for Nurik; and 2019 Bronze Stevie Award for “PR Campaign of the Year.” Additionally, GMG was selected as one of the top 18 PR firms and top nine marketing consultants serving the district by Expertise.com. GMG and Nurik won a combined total of five DC Inno awards in the past six years, including both “50 on Fire” and “Coolest Companies.”

DC Inno’s annual “50 on Fire” celebration is a premier event highlighting the successes of the district’s biggest game changers, from established leaders to up-and-comers in 10 categories: software, cybersecurity, healthcare/health tech/wellness, lifestyle, education/edtech, government & civic technology, social impact & environmental science, community, design/development/marketing and other innovators.
