Tentacle announced today that Frank Bifulco has joined the firm as a full agency partner and Managing Director, along with founders and current Managing Partners, Nick Mammola and Lou Imbriano. In this role, he will help develop and execute Tentacle’s overall growth strategy, expand its capabilities and strive to accelerate new client acquisition.

Tentacle is evolving from being a niche marketing-technology digital agency to a full-service agency partner in response to rapidly evolving market place demands and client needs and emerging growth opportunities. To address this, Tentacle is building a broad suite of services and product offerings ranging from brand architecture and strategy development to the creation and execution of data-driven, hyper-local digital, social and mobile marketing campaigns. Frank’s broad experience and competencies in these areas will enhance Tentacle’s capabilities and intensify its acumen.
Frank joins Tentacle having most recently been EVP and CMO for Staples. He reported directly to the CEO and served on the company’s senior leadership team. Prior to Staples, Frank served as SVP and CMO of The Home Depot, president of Hasbro Games and Hasbro North American Sales, global CMO of Timberland and SVP Marketing for Coca-Cola North America. He started his marketing and business career at Procter & Gamble in Brand Management after serving as an officer in the U.S. Army. Frank currently serves on several boards of private-equity owned companies to include York Wallcoverings, Sunless, Inc. and OwnerIQ. Previous board assignments included Yankee Candle, Things Remembered and DentalPlans.com. He also has been an adjunct professor of marketing at the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Nick and Lou have been career C-suite operating executives in both private and public companies. They also have first-hand experience as founders of, advisors to and investors in start-ups and early-stage businesses. Leveraging this expertise, they established Tentacle Capital, a business within Tentacle that is focused on start-ups, early-stage and mid-market companies and that seeks to align select client opportunities with the co-founders’ experience as investors, marketers and business-builders.
