Performance marketing agency, Marketing Maven, announced today that its CEO and President, Lindsey Carnett, will be the moderator at PDMI West for a panel on October 7. The panel will address “Leveraging the Power of Influencers.”
The Performance-Driven Marketing Institute (PDMI) is holding the event October 6-8 at The InterContinental San Diego.
As influencer marketing’s power has grown, it’s shown the ability to generate direct sales and lift retail — simultaneously. The panel will feature executives of performance brands discussing how to identify influencers who will move the needle with your target audience, how to pitch — and negotiate with — influencers and their agents, and how to take raw influencer content and edit it into ads that drive both online and in-store sales. The conversation will also touch on how to ensure brand-safe content, securing lifetime usage rights, and more.
The panel will take place from 1:00 to 1:45pm PT on October 7, 2025.
In addition to Carnett, the panelists will be Whitney Callahan, PanTheryx; Kayla Marcum, Dude Wipes and Ariel Brooks Benz, BB3 Advertising.
PDMI West is designed to answer, “What’s next for performance and direct-to-consumer marketers?” The organization holds PDMI East and PDMI West every year to keep members current with industry trends and developments.
“We’re excited to host this conversation that will shed light on why influencers are so integral to today’s marketing strategies,” said Thomas Haire, Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer of PDMI. “The panelists on hand — including a pair of leading brand experts — will bring a varied industry perspective on how to bring brands more attention in the crowded 2025 market.”
“The power of influencers has grown dramatically over the last 10 years,” said Carnett. “I am delighted to guide the panel to break down how to select the right influencers and how to repurpose their content for the best results in performance marketing.”
