Cognitiv, the first self-learning, fully automated neural network technology available for marketers, has announced the appointment of Frank Guzzardo as its Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role as part of the executive team, Guzzardo will initiate the organization’s sales strategy and accelerate growth through innovative sales strategies and building relationships with new and existing clients and industry partners. Guzzardo will report to Cognitiv co-founder & CEO Jeremy Fain.

Guzzardo comes to Cognitiv from WorkReduce, where he served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales providing virtual staffing for programmatic marketers, agencies and DSP’s. Prior to WorkReduce, Guzzardo was Vice President of Sales for The Exchange Lab opening their US office in 2014, where he built out their U.S. sales team and grew sales from zero to $12 million in less than 2 years when it was acquired by WPP. He continued to lead the team until 2018. As Vice President of Sales East at Blue Lithium, he opened the New York office where he built the company’s online advertising network sales team, culminating in a $300-million-dollar sale to Yahoo in 2007. Guzzardo was instrumental in spearheading the integration of Blue Lithium’s sales team with Right Media forming the Yahoo! Ad Network, which quickly claimed the number one position among all ad networks in terms of uniques, impressions, and revenue.

This announcement comes on the heels of Cognitiv launching two new products in 2019: Cognitiv Incremental and Cognitiv Search.
