Allen Media Group Hires Matthew Lipson as VP of Marketing

Byron Allen’sĀ Allen Media Group (AMG)Ā proudly announces the hiring ofĀ Matthew LipsonĀ to the new position of Executive Vice President of Marketing for Digital Platforms and Content. In this new position, Lipson will oversee marketing strategies, creative development, social media, paid media, and optimization for allĀ AMGĀ digital television networks, motion pictures, content, and digital streaming platforms, includingĀ Sports.TV, theGrio, HBCU GO,Ā andĀ Comedy.TV, as well asĀ AMG‘s digital distribution division for movies,Ā Freestyle Digital Media. Lipson is based at theĀ AMGĀ headquarters inĀ Los Angeles.

Matthew LipsonĀ recently served as Executive Vice President, Marketing and Digital atĀ 101 StudiosĀ andĀ Sports Illustrated StudiosĀ where he oversaw marketing and digital strategy for all film, television, and audio releases. Prior to that, Lipson served as Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing atĀ Open Road FilmsĀ and theĀ NBC/UniversalĀ specialty-film division,Ā Focus Features. Prior to that, Lipson was Vice President,Ā Client StrategyĀ at world-renowned marketing and advertising agencyĀ Big Spaceship, where he led strategy and client engagement and oversaw award-winning marketing and digital campaigns for global brands such as:Ā Chobani,Ā BMW,Ā Hewlett-Packard,Ā SONOSĀ andĀ Crayola. Matthew has a bachelor’s degree fromĀ Colgate University.
