When we started Konnecto, our platform was generating insights across every marketing channel. Then Danielle, my co-founder, and I spotted something we couldn’t ignore – a massive blind spot in the affiliate space. Brands had almost no real performance visibility, no true understanding of attribution, and no way to measure the channel’s real impact on the customer journey. At the same time, we could see Gen-AI engines were going to disrupt the traditional affiliate landscape. Konnecto’s ability to understand the entire purchase journey put us in the perfect position to power the new attribution models that this shift demands.

What does it mean for the industry to move “beyond SaaS” in the way you described-how is this different from what came before?
For years, SaaS in the affiliate space meant logging into a dashboard, pulling reports, and interpreting the data yourself, and taking action yourself. SaaS was largely focused on human-enabled automation with repeating predefined tasks, whereas “beyond SaaS” is a move towards autonomous, agentic solutions that can optimize against complex tasks that are not defined. Ultimately, beyond SaaS means the platform isn’t just storing your data – it’s thinking with you, and making decision for you.

One of the most alarming types of fraud in affiliate marketing is ultimately an attribution problem – paying credit where it’s not deserved.Our predictive risk scoring spots when an affiliate is being attributed a conversion they didn’t influence, or when it was driven through non-compliant activity. By mapping the entire purchase journey, we can flag these issues before payouts happen. In the Gen-AI era, that means fraud prevention shifts from catching bad actors after the fact to protecting revenue in real time, and eliminating 99% of fraud.
