Topol.io Announced the Launch of Lettr

Lettr is developed by the Topol team and backed by the infrastructure of Ecomail, a European email platform founded in 2014 that serves over 12,000 organizations

Topol.io, maker of an embeddable email editor plugin used by over 40,000 companies, has today announced the launch of Lettr, a transactional email platform that integrates into Laravel with a single command, and which includes Topol’s visual editor. Built on the proven infrastructure of Topol’s sister company, Ecomail, Lettr supports first-party domain controls for tracking and hosted assets, as well as content-editing workflows for non-developers. The resulting platform, intended for both early-stage startups and high-volume enterprise senders, enables development teams to set email sending logic once, and product and marketing teams to take full ownership of evolving email content.

Nearly every business needs to send transactional emails, and the developers responsible for them often run into two problems. First, the customer-facing parts of the emails, like tracked links and hosted assets, live on shared vendor domains, whose reputations and defaults the developers do not control. Second, the email templates themselves are only editable via code, turning copy and design updates into developer tickets. Lettr solves both of these problems.

With Lettr, development teams can use their own domains for sending, tracking, inbound replies, and asset storage, which helps keep emails on-brand and allows more in-house control over email deliverability. This is an uncommon offering among transactional email platforms, because it requires mature infrastructure for DNS setup, routing, and certificate management. Lettr can support this capability because Ecomail already operates enterprise-grade email infrastructure for over 12,000 organizations, and has spent 12 years building the systems that make these domain configurations practical and affordable. For the same reason, Lettr is able to offer dedicated IP pools and custom rate limits for high-volume enterprise senders that need even more control over their setup.

For marketers and product owners, Lettr enables full control over templates, drafts, publishing, and version control via Topol—a drag-and-drop email editor used by over 40,000 companies, which was originally developed inside of Ecomail and which spun out as its own company at the end of 2025. The result is that developers can implement trigger conditions once, and then let non-developer teams modify the email content without their further intervention.

The Laravel-native Lettr platform is focused purely on transactional email, and does not offer bulk sending capability or contact list imports.

We kept Lettr transactional-only because mixing marketing and transactional workflows usually creates complexity where teams least want it,” says Jakub Gause, Head of Development at Lettr and Topol. “We’re also focusing on Laravel first because it’s one of the most popular frameworks for shipping SaaS products quickly. We’ll expand to other ecosystems over time.”

For Laravel teams already sending transactional email, Lettr is designed to make migration straightforward, and can be integrated into Laravel with a one-command setup. Teams can switch providers with minimal changes, keep their existing templates (including HTML output generated by React Email), and move template edits into Lettr’s versioned workflow. Other notable features for developers include event webhooks for accepted, delivered, delayed, bounced, opened, clicked, and spam events, 90-day API logs for troubleshooting, and optional type-safe mail objects that help teams keep templates and code in sync.

Notable features for marketers include a template library for common transactional emails, easy multilingual template management, dynamic placeholders, and a full lifecycle analytics suite. Another important feature, which is rare in transactional email editors, is synced sections, which allows teams to update a master section once and automatically apply changes to all templates where that section is used.

Paid plans start at $15 per month for 50,000 emails per month, with enterprise pricing available for custom requirements. There is also a free plan for up to 3,000 emails per month.

Lettr is the latest standalone product to emerge from the Ecomail ecosystem, following Topol and DMARCeye—a guidance-based DMARC monitoring and reporting platform.

Lettr represents the same philosophy that drove the spinout of Topol and DMARCeye: it’s a lightweight tool that solves a specific problem extremely well, without bloated complexity or functionality that overlaps with other tools,” says Jakub Stupka, Co-founder at Ecomail, Topol, and DMARCeye. “As new market needs arise, Ecomail and Topol will keep spinning out specialized, standalone products based on our intimate knowledge of email infrastructure.”

Together, Lettr, DMARCeye, Topol, and Ecomail comprise the first stage of Big Good: an Ecomail-led ecosystem of tools designed for marketing professionals and developers working across email communication, content, security, and design. Additional tools are in development and will soon be released under the Big Good umbrella.
